EAC ARMED FORCES, POLICE AND CIVILIANS’ DELEGATES DEVELOP CONCEPT FOR THE EAC FIELD TRAINING EXERCISE USHIRIKIANO IMARA 2024

Today, EAC member states Armed Forces, police personnel and civilians’ delegates begun a three-day Concept Development Conference for the East African Community Field Training Exercise (FTX) USHIRIKIANO IMARA 2024. The Conference is being held at Nyamata, Bugesera District.
In his remarks, Brig Gen Denis Rutaha, the Head of the Rwandan delegation, welcomed other EAC partner states delegates to the conference.
He said that the FTX Ushirikiano Imara 2024 will emulate previous FTX.
" FTX Ushirikiano Imara2024 will be heavy in terms of content and logistics and everyone is required to bring the knowledge, expertise and experiences to planning and execution of this very important exercise."
The conference is scheduled from 17th to 19th July 2023.
