RDF host an end-of-year dinner to honor the Defence Attachés accredited to Rwanda

The Rwanda Defence Force (RDF) held an end-of-year dinner this evening to honor Defence Attachés, both resident and non-resident, accredited to Rwanda. The event took place at the Senior Officers Mess Kimihurura in Kigali, on 13, December 2024.
Brig. Gen. Celestin Kanyamahanga, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Defence (MOD), represented the Minister of Defence as the guest of honor. In his address, he warmly welcomed the Defence Attachés and commended their presence as demonstrating the value of cooperation.
He highlighted that partnerships with other allies of the armed forces constitute an important part of the Rwanda Defence Forces’ professionalisation journey. “We believe that no single country can confront contemporary security challenges. It is therefore, paramount for all of us to embrace trust, confident, and inter-operability through defence cooperation as we jointly contribute to global security”. Brig. Gen Kanyamahanga noted.
This event was organized by the Department of International Military Cooperation and attended by Defence Attachés, RDF Generals, senior officers, and many invited guests.
