Students from German Armed Forces Command and Staff College visit RDF
Kigali, 12 June 2023
A delegation of 20 students and members of faculty from the German Armed Forces Command and Staff College in Hamburg is on a trip to Rwanda from 10 to 17 June 2023.
This morning they visited RDF Headquarters and were received on behalf of the Chief of Defence Staff, by Brig Gen Patrick Karuretwa, the Head of International Military Cooperation and Brig Gen Ronald Rwivanga, the Defence and Military Spokesperson.
At the RDF HQs, they were briefed on the RDFs transformation journey since the end of the liberation struggle in 1994.
These student officers from Germany, Great Britain, Slovakia, Sweden and the United States of America will also meet groups for peace and reconciliation, peacemakers and other actors from different sectors to acquaint the delegation with Rwanda's journey towards unity, reconciliation and development.
